QFP was set up in 2002 in Umbria, in the city of Spoleto, as an italian distributor for contactless measurement systems for a german company Steinbichler Optotechnik GmbH.
In the following years the search for advanced technology has continued and has succeeded in identifying world leaders in the sector as Partners both for contactless metrology and nondestructive testing areas.
In addition to the systems sales business, 3D contactless measurement and reverse engineering services are now a key sector for QFP allowing our clients to have access to innovative technologies without needing to buy the related equipment.
In 2004, thanks to our aeronautical experience, QFP began to work in significant international engineering programs for mechanisms and structures , such as the Airbus programs A380, A 330 and A350 and Boeing programs B747 and B737.
In 2005 QFP established another office dislocated in the North of Italy, in Veneto to be precise, offering second location for our services.
Our strategic dislocation , through our offices and through our affiliates, allows us to be always close to our clients and we can always guarantee prompt and quick cooperation with our clients’ requests, assuring quick and precise answers
In 2008 QFP obtained the ISO 9001 certification in order to provide systems, after sales assistance and services always in the forefront, also thanks to a team of more than 20 people both technical and commercial always constantly updated with the latest technologies.
Up today, we represent, amongst others, Steinbichler Optotechnik Gmbh, AICON 3D System , Innovmetric Software Inc, ThirdDimension; this confirms that our effort towards technological innovation in contactless measurement and non destructive testing was correct. Moreover the continuous engagement in engineering programs has made QFP a reliable partner in the aeronautical field .
