AUTOMATION
Process Control Systems
Assembly processes are one of the most delicate stages in the production cycle, especially when it comes to finished or semi-finished products made by joining different components.
To ensure quality and consistency throughout the entire production line, QFP designs and manufactures automated systems for in-process dimensional inspection that can be precisely adapted to any production scenario. The goal is to validate, in real time, the correctness of the assembly and the conformity of the geometries before the product enters the logistics chain.
FEATURES
An Integrated Approach to Custom-Designed Systems
The solutions developed by QFP are designed to be easily integrated into existing production lines or new facilities. Our measurement stations are suited to high-speed production cycles, ensuring in-line inspection that does not slow down the process and allows for continuous monitoring of critical dimensional variables. The configuration is custom-designed to meet the customer’s specific needs: from available space to operating conditions, right down to the variety of product codes to be managed.
From the design phase through to final installation, every QFP system is developed using an integrated approach. Our technical team uses laser scanners to capture 3D data of the actual spaces, ensuring perfect compatibility between the existing layout and the inspection station. Based on this data, we determine the most suitable sensor configuration, including state-of-the-art optical and 2D vision systems.
BENEFITS
Continuous monitoring and a quick return on investment
Implementing a process dimensional inspection system means increasing production efficiency and reducing the costs associated with rework or machine downtime. Our solutions enable 100% in-line inspection of the batch, while maintaining synchronization with the production cycle. The ROI is rapid thanks to improved process quality and reduced scrap.
Benefits and Advantages of the Solution
- Flexibility, thanks to the ability to quickly reconfigure the system based on product codes
- Compact design, to optimize space on the production line without sacrificing functionality
Reliability, through metrological validation of performance - Customization, to meet the specific needs of every industrial application
Functional testing takes place at the QFP facility with the customer’s direct involvement, and each system is delivered ready for use, complete with CE or UL marking depending on the target market.
