WiseGap is a digital and wireless system designed to accurately measure multiple gaps simultaneously, even in hidden or hard-to-reach areas.
Developed to meet the quality requirements of automotive closures (doors, hood, tailgate), WiseGap helps prevent recurring problems such as aerodynamic noise and water infiltration, which are even more critical today with the increased demand for acoustic comfort and the quietness of electric vehicles. The system was developed to replace manual and inefficient methods (feeler gauges, friction blocks, clay/calipers), offering a solution that is fast, accurate, temperature-stable and applicable to different models and body types, including non-magnetic ones.
WiseGap is based on a patented process for measuring displacement using strain gauge techniques, with wireless transmission to a portable processing system. The technology is compact and flexible, and adapts to closure verification under real operating conditions: on the line, at inspection stations, or during dynamic testing.
